Hi Ive got a 1.6 petrol and have a problem removing the starter motor ,ive removed 2 of the bolts but i cant see or feel where the last 1 is ,is there anything i should be doing to give me better access or has anyone got a photo of the starter in situe, this shouldve been a quick job but its turning into a right pain
If its a hdi 8v then fear not.. It will only of broken the rocker fingers and not any damage to the valves.. Its a partial strip down job in that the cam shaft needs to come off but thats in its own carrier.. remove any old rocker finger waste in thectop.. use a good stronge pencil magnet refit the rocker fingers cam shaft time the crank and cam fit a belt AND water pump while your in there
